What a couple of months! We’ve logged over 6,000 miles driving in the past few months! Since August 1st, we’ve gone to Dallas, TX, Denver, Co, Huntsville, AL, Chillicothe, MO, Waterbury, CT and Lawrence, KS. Luckily, we won’t be slowing down anytime soon. October takes us to Plattsmouth, NE, Greenville, AL, Starkville, MS, Junction City, KS, MacPherson, KS and Miami, OK. Sometimes this job feels like a geography lesson.

Tour highlight for September would definitely be our “homecoming” to Seven Angels Theater in Waterbury, CT. The shows were among the best we’ve ever done and the hospitality was unlike anything we’ve seen before. Who would let the McGuigan Brothers water ski in September in CT? The Nardelli’s of course. And our closing night party will be one that will never be forgotten. Unless of course your name is Richard Reese. Then you won’t be able to remember the fun that you had. Thanks to Semina and the 7A gang for letting us invade your theater again! See you next year!!

Hello to everyone out there! Just returning home from an incredible weekend in Chillicothe, Missouri and prepping to make a big return to Seven Angels Theater in Waterbury, CT. Chillicothe was a great success; not only because of the huge audience that Yesterday and Today brought in on a Sunday afternoon, but because the potential for failure was high on this particular show.

I spent the better part of a week reorganizing all of our gear for upcoming touring schedule; I purchased a new trailer to carry all of said gear; we hadn’t performed the full YandT show in four months; and, most importantly (and for the first time in the past three years of touring) we were doing the show without a lighting director. So I, along with my trusty tour manager, production coordinator, booking agent and personal assistant, Kate WC, put our lighting hats on and focused the show. We then handed the lighting duties over to a high school student (who totally rocked it) and off we went. The show went off without a hitch! Nothing like flying by the seat of your pants, huh?
